Serve as a Project Manager in the National Park Service (NPS). The position supports Regions/parks in the formulation of projects for the management, maintenance, repair and construction of NPS facilities, including buildings, utilities, trails, roads and other physical assets. The incumbent will be principally working with funded projects. The incumbent may also provide project management expertise to funding sources for any high cost projects.

For the Landscape Architect, (0807) series you must possess: A bachelor's or higher degree in Landscape Architecture or Landscape Design.
OR

A combination of education and experience that when combined equals four years. For each year short of graduation, the applicant must have had 1 year of experience under professional leadership and guidance of such character and diversity as to be a satisfactory substitute for the required education. This experience must have included original landscape design.

For the Architect, (0808) series you must possess: An Architecture Degree.
OR

Degree in a related field that included 60 semester hours of coursework in architecture or related disciplines of which at least (1) 30 semester hours were in architectural design, and (2) 6 semester hours were in each of the following: structural technology, properties of materials and methods of construction, and environmental control systems.
OR

Degree in architectural engineering, provided the completed course work in architectural engineering provided knowledge, skills, and abilities equivalent to those provided in an architecture or architectural engineering curriculum.
OR

1 year of experience in architect's office or in architectural work for each year short of graduation from a program of study in architecture. In the absence of college courses, 5 years of such experience is required. This experience must have demonstrated that the applicant has acquired a thorough knowledge of the fundamental principles and theories of professional architecture.

In addition to meeting the basic education requirements, you must possessone year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-11 level (obtained in either the public or private sectors): Communication and problem-solving skills in negotiating, facilitating, motivating, persuading, problem identification and resolution, conflict resolution, anticipating and avoiding problems and providing leadership to accomplish work through others for design and construction projects.
